Salad Skewers


A great picnicking idea for an easy, fun to eat salad, kids will enjoy helping to prepare the skewers and then be excited to eat their veggies! Serve with your favorite Litehouse salad dressings.

1 English Cucumber, seeded and cut into 1" pieces
2 Red or Yellow Bell Peppers, seeded and cut into 1" pieces
2 Large Carrots, peeled and cut in 1/8" rounds
1 Large Zucchini, cut into 1" pieces
1 Radish Bunch, quartered
2 Cups California Sun Dry Tomatoes, drained
10-Inch Bamboo Skewers
Litehouse Salad Dressing

Cooking Instructions 

Place Vegetables onto skewers, alternating colors and textures until finished.  Place the Litehouse salad dressing in a bowl on a large platter. Place the finished skewers on the platter, with the tips of the skewers pointing in towards the dressing. Serve immediately, or refrigerate until ready to eat.
